Leaving the SCMP, Kelly launched a successful publishing company, helping brands entering and developing in Hong Kong and China. With a highly refined understanding of brand building, the company was an immediate success, working with Sony Pictures, City of Dreams, Hypoxi, Hyatt, Talika, Benefit, Bliss and Power Plate. Kelly is the Creative Director of the China Wine and Spirits Awards - CWSA - the biggest and most prestigious wine and spirits competition in Hong Kong and China, which is responsible for sales of 90 million bottles per year. Her work is shaping the future of international and Chinese relationships for brands including Haig Club, LVMH, Wolf Blass, Pernod Ricard, Camus, Robert Mondavi, Treasury Wine Estates, Wedgwood and Diageo.
With a reputation as a top model and an interest in business, Kelly became a weekly columnist for the South China Morning Post - SCMP - at the time the world’s most profitable newspaper. As the SCMP ‘Beauty Authority' she focused on brands including Bobbi Brown, and began a special interest in British brands including Elemis, Aromatherapy Associates and Neal's Yard and began generating suitable branding for the Asian markets.
Originally from rural Staffordshire, UK, both Simon Fuller's 19 Management and also Models One scouted Kelly England, which launched her extremely successful international modelling career. She became one of the few models to succeed at the top level in both Europe and Asia, booking major campaigns and high end editorial in all major fashion markets. She became muse to Mr Shu Uemura , and became a frequent face in the Japan, Korea and China markets. This gave Kelly an early business insight in these booming economies.
